Many young people have completed an Asdan Bronze Youth Achievement Award whilst at AXLR8. Asdan award programmes offer imaginative ways of developing, recording and certificating a wide range of young people’s personal qualities, abilities and achievements.

For more information on Asdan Awards, click here.

We can work with young people to build an excellent portfolio including worksheets, internet research, learning diaries, photographs etc. Completed portfolios provide young people with a great visual record of their achievement that they can show to prospective education providers or employers and which may inspire them to progress on to the silver award or other accredited programmes. Approximately 60 hours are needed for a young person to complete the award.

Please note: We are not able to internally moderate the portfolio’s, this will be the customers responsibility.

AXLR8 also has centre registration to use the AQA Unit Award Scheme. The scheme provides an opportunity to give young people formal recognition of their success in short units of work.

For more information on the AQA Unit Award Scheme, click here.

We have selected 13 units relating to motor vehicle maintenance and mechanics which are available to young people. Each unit is certificated and can provide an excellent record of achievement which young people can show to prospective education providers or employers and which may inspire them to progress on to other accredited programmes.

Please note: additional costs per young person may apply
